The Blueray UV Air Sterilizer is a very powerful air sanitizer. This UV air purification system features super high output ultraviolet germicidal lights, and like its predecessor (the Blue UV Lights), the Blueray UV air purification system can also be found in homes and businesses throughout the world. You can even find this very same system on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. This air duct or HVAC mounted UVC air system has extreme power to kill living germs such as viruses, bacteria, mold and other airborne pathogens including terrorist bio-agents, Ebola with direct exposure and tough black mold. (And you can optionally add OxyCat OxyCat Version II, a photo catalyst to fight odors and volatile organic compounds.) for an additional $59.95 (retails for $79.95 by itself, save $20 with your Blueray purchase).
This UV light disinfectant system sanitizes the air you breathe as it is circulated throughout the ventilation system, plus it cleans air conditioning coils of sludge buildup, bacteria and mold. This not only increases air flow through the coils, making the air conditioner more efficient (and reducing power costs), but it also promotes a healthy, clean living environment which means improving indoor air quality. Air conditioning coils are full of moisture (condensation) which bacteria and mold thrive on, making your air conditioner cooling coils a breeding ground for lots of microscopic growth. Even worse, every time your central air conditioning turns on there are spores released into the air from the coil. These spores then travel through the air ducts and are blown right out of the vents into the rooms. This commonly causes allergic reactions, sinus problems and even headaches. Commonly referred to as SBS (sick building syndrome), many think they have serious allergy problems or health issues as they wake up every morning feeling congested or fatigued, and it is often the home, not the outdoors, that makes us feel sick. Although this product makes a great coil cleaner, that's not it's main feature. The Blueray is manufactured to sterilize air passing through the system, but as mentioned, it does make a great coil cleaner too when space permits installation near the coils, however that's not always possible with many systems manufactured today, which are very compact. If you can install it at the coil area that's a great plus, but if you can't that's OK too, it's job is to sterilize the air and it can do that in any main air duct or plenum distribution box (which it is sure to fit in 99.999% of the time)
1000 square feet and above. For larger homes with multiple air handlers (furnaces) you should install 1 on each for maximum protection from living organisms.
No more than 10,000 square feet, unless you are installing multiple units in multiple HVAC systems.
Can be mounted to metal or fiber air ducts (select during checkout for soft fiber air ducts). Can also be mounted on plywood cold air intakes, which are common in many of the hot and humid areas like Florida, Georgia Texas, etc..
Arrives with a standard 6 foot power cord that plugs in.
Optional configuration: hard wire (8 feet of 3 conductor flexible conduit for direct connection to power.)
This ultraviolet germicidal air sanitizer quickly sterilizes the air as it sanitizes all day long.
This item comes standard for 120V / 60Hz (household voltage) and optional universal voltage up to 280V. Overseas customers should choose Universal Voltage during checkout so your UV air purification system can operate at 50 or 60Hz, and at any voltage from 110 to 280 Volts.
